Guitar chord changing techniques and exercises

July 23, 2016 By sunoy14

A little bit of my experience about guitar chord changing :

(watch the video for the guitar chord changing techniques and exercises. The below paragraphs are just a little bit of my experience sharing).

First of all I will admit that some of the shown guitar techniques, I learnt the opposite from what I show in the video. But trust me, Now I realise how it would have been better if I had learnt it differently.

For example, the technique about placing down your fingers on the guitar strings starting from the top to bottom. I learnt it naturally by placing my fingers starting from the bottom string. But I realised that most of the time the right hand will strum down. And when changing one or two chords quickly while plucking or strumming some strings with the right hand, I realised that it’s better if you place the left hand fingers starting from the top string since most of the time you strum down with your right hand which means your first touch the top string with your right hand.

Start by following the exercise and techniques and slowly you will start to play like a pro in time. And you may also check out my tutorial on basic guitar chords.
